At the Platte Valley Fire Protection District, we are committed to keeping our community
informed about the department.
Often times citizens do not know what is
happening behind the scenes, such as personnel training, equipment and apparatus
maintenance, as well as current and future department needs.
A strong relationship between our department
and community is essential for a successful future, and we believe that mutual
education is the first step we must take.
This is where the Platte Valley Fire Protection
District public relations team comes into play. |
|
 |
Our public relations team is responsible for
all publicity for the district, including briefing the media during/after emergency
incidents, issuing press releases, advertising department-held community activities
and trainings, and ultimately keeping the community informed.
There are currently two public information
officers who oversee all public relations for the district.
