The Platte Valley Fire Protection District governing body is the district Board of Directors.
The board is comprised of five members of the
community that either own property or live within the district's boundaries.
In a special election, each official is elected
by voters to a four-year term, and is term-limited to two, four-year terms of service.
Board officials come from all walks of life, each bringing
their own unique experiences, perspectives, and didactic skills to the table to benefit the district.
